    About

DRSC Functional Genomics Resources (DRSC-FGR) began as the Drosophila RNAi Screening Center (DRSC), founded by Prof. Norbert Perrimon in 2003, and the Transgenic RNAi Project (TRiP), founded by Prof. Perrimon in 2008.

We have since grown into a functional genomics platform meeting the needs of the Drosophila and broader community by providing:

    • high-throughput production platforms
    • cell-based RNAi screen reagents
    • on-site cell-based and in vivo screening by local or visiting researchers
    • reagent and...

    Contact

    We welcome inquiries, including

    • requests for practical help with ordering, reagents, or protocols
    • requests for project consultation (screens, reagents)
    • requests for on-site screening or use of our equipment for other projects
    • letters of support for grant applications that will use DRSC/TRiP-FGR resources
    • collaborations on new libraries, reagents, and resources

    Reagents

Our reagents fall into two main categories, those for Drosophila cell culture and those for in vivo studies, and include two main technologies, RNAi and CRISPR applications. We also have reagents relevant to the study of miRNAs and for overexpression of open reading frames (ORFs).

Reagents for in vivo Drosophila studies include
